Our hemp bedding is optimally suited for allergic and highly sensible horses as an alternative to straw and shaving bedding. The untreated hemp fibres originate from herbicide and fungicide-free cultivation.
Low Manure Volumes
Due to the uniform property of the material, areas soaked can be removed targeted and horse droppings can be easily removed from the top where the amount of manure and work effort is reduced drastically.
Outstanding Absorbency
Due to their natural absorbency, the shredded hemp shives can absorb liquids quickly, where the bedding also fully convinces with regard to absorbency.
Environmentally Friendly
With the cultivation of fibre hemp, no herbicide or fungicide are used. Thanks to the outstanding composting properties, the manure can also be ideally used as pH neutral fertiliser.
Dust-free and Odour Absorbing
Our hemp bedding is ideally suitable for horses with sensitive respiratory tracts. The cleaned and de-dusted material keeps the air clean and does not cause irritation of the respiratory tract or allergies. Hemp bedding is also characterised by a strong odour absorption.

Basic Bedding
For the basic bedding, you need approx. 3 to 4 bales for a standard box of 12m².
Bedding / Week
You should calculate approx. 1 to 2 bales per week for subsequent bedding.
Bedding Height
We recommend a bedding height of 10 to 15 cm.
